a greater back diffusion into the bulk until a steady state is reached,
when the rate of back diffusion balances the rate of accumulation near
the membrane surface.The factors that enhance the back diffusion reduce CP during the filtration process,such as an increased
cross-flow velocity,a greater diffusion coefficient of the solute/
particle,and a higher temperature.In contrast,an increased filtration
pressure or permeate flux increase CP.
