我觉得以上两个都有可能,如“There's gotta be something wrong with him”这里的gotta应该是指“got
如“I gotta go.”这里的gotta应该是指“have got
究竟gotta是哪一个的缩写呢?如果两个都有可能,怎么区分?

gotta表示必须,相当于have to,have got to.为什么省略成gotta?因为老外习惯把have 讲得很快,比如,i have got to move out.口语发音是i've gotu move out,渐渐就变成了gotta
