Good housewife vs.career wife
Before comparing the two,I want to distinguish the difference between a good housewife and a career wife first.I believe everyone knows what a housewife is--she's the classical type of wife who doesn't go to work,but stays at home to do house chores.A good housewife takes good care of her husband and children and makes their home clean,tidy,and welcoming.She never complains about the load of work she has to do,because she loves her family.Meanwhile,what is a career wife?This is a word not often being heard,but very common in today's society.Same as a housewife,a career wife doesn't go for work.She relies on her husband for money.But different from a housewife,a career wife doesn't do any dirty chores.She enjoys all the luxuries her husband's money bought her.She refuses to be submissive like a housewife because she has money to hire others to do the chores.Yet,she is pretty,fashionable,and maybe very smart.If we use Cinderella to describe a housewife,whose beauty is hidden under plain clothes and hairstyles,a career wife is the typical rich princess who enjoys all the wonder and is showy of her beauty.
