This paper shows that the M&A event initiated change
towards suppliers in the form of requests to meet new quality
requirements, whereas towards customers, the change came
in the form of new product offerings, and was reinforced by
the introduction of a new distribution system. Indeed, these

owing to its inability to meet new quality requirements, and
positive effects to customers or other suppliers, e.g. the

quality of products or raw materials from new suppliers.
