arrange 既可以用作及物动词,也可以用作不及物动词.
 
一、及物动词用法,表示“安排”、“准备”“筹备”、“整理”、“调解”、“约定”等
 
   1、跟名词作宾语,如：
 

arrange a quarrel [dispute,difference] 调解争执[纠纷,争论]

arrange a picnic 准备一次野餐

arrange a novel for the stage 把小说改编成剧本

arrang books on the shelves.  把书架上的书整理好

arrange a marriage 筹备婚礼

 
   2、跟不定式作宾语：arrange to do sth.（安排、约定或筹备做某事）
 

I've arranged to see him on Friday morning.我已安排好星期五上午见他.

 
二、不及物动词用法,表示“商定”、“达成一致意见”或“准备”,如：
 

arrange with sb.about sth.与某人商定某事

 
　　I'm going to arrange with him about the tickets.我准备就票的问题与他商量.
　　I must arrange with him about a taxi.我必须与他协商计程车的事.
 

arrange for sb.(to do sth.) 安排某人（做某事）,如：

 
　　The hotel manager will arrange for a babysitter.宾馆经理会安排人照看婴儿.
　　I will arrange for someone to take you round.我会安排人带你转转.
 

arrange for sth.为某事做准备/安排或准备某物

　　we have arranged for a marriage  我们已经为婚礼做好了准备工作.
