Guangzhou:Cantonese or Mandarin?
Hello,I want to live in guangzhou for a while and I was wondering something...
I love the cantonese language alot..and I'd love to learn it...but is Guangdong/Guangzhou mainly cantonese or putonghua speaking?

It is mainly Cantonese but TV and broadcasting are in Mandarin.Most people speak Mandarin.
