对are there any的回答
一般学的是肯定回答用Yes,there are.否定回答用No,there aren't.
那比如我问Are there any monkeys in the cage?实际上笼子里只有一只猴子,那该怎么回答呢,Yes,there are.和No,there aren't.好像都不合适呢.迷茫了,

英文中的数量词一定要表现出来,而中文不用.
比如：He had been hit by a car yesterday.翻译为：他昨天被车撞了.
注意a car 不用译成一部车.
所以,原问句可以翻译成：笼子里有猴子吗?
回答可以是：Yes,there is a monkey in the cage.
