Good morning, everyone! I am very honoured to be here to give my speech. Today, I would like to introduce my hometown--Tai'an. The name "Tai'an" have a good implication in meaning, which indicates "the country is prosperous and the people are at peace". The most famous scenic spot here must be the Mount Tai, which is ranked first of the five great mountains in china. The altitude of it is 1545 meters, which lays a foundation to the first mountain of reputation. Apart from its beautiful secenery and abundant cultural deposits, it is, at the same time, a renowned National Geological Heritage. As a tourist city, there are many other tourism programs being built, such as the Great Fengshan Ceremony (which means offering sacrifices to goddess) and an amusement park (--FangTe's World 方特欢乐世界?) that can be on a par with the Disneyland. Like other places, Mount Tai also has its famous local cuisine--not the things of rarity, but the chinese cabbage, toufu and water. It is due to the superior climate environment of Mount Tai that makes these common food such a good reputation. And it is thus clear that how nice a place Tai'an is.
