我的问题就是源于"There are things we don't want to happen but have to accept."这句话~things we have to accept很显然是对的`但总觉得things we don't want to happen很怪`things又做宾语又做主语?

没有错,一楼反而改错了.楼主这句子只是省略了(that)we don't want to happen中的that.
