我手上的答案是选A,before,不知道为什么要选A,就查看了一下百度,有解释说是根据句子的意思,有解释是说IT'S 时间 before 句型,
更离奇的是我发现还有选C的.而且貌似C的解释更加现实,他们的解释是因为后面是 what had ,所以用过去完成时,
请问这题究竟要选什么,请不要复制别人答案呢,因为我都基本上看过了~

就选A 这就是it is a long time before的用法.即在狱卒发现了发生了什么之前他逃了.后面的had happened 与前面的选项无关,是和“discovered”连用的 毕竟发生的事在发现之前,发现用一般过去时,发生就用过去完成时.
