She gave him her piece of bread and went on her way. Then a child came and said, "I am so cold. Give me something to wear." The girl took off her coat and gave it to the child. And when she had walked a little farther, she met another child. The child had no dress, so the kind girl gave her dress away. At last, she went into a forest and it was already dark. Then another child came and asked for a shirt. The kind girl thought it was a dark night and no one could see her, so she took her shirt off and gave it to the child.
And then she stood in the forest with nothing left at all. Suddenly some stars fell down from the sky and turned into coins. Although she had just given her shirt away, she was now wearing a new one. Then she picked up all the money, and was rich all her life.
