I think having a happy family is the most important thing in life because one is surrounded by family members on a daily basis, and one has to interact with family members constantly. Also, family members are the ones that truly cares about you and have concerns for you, especially your parents. When you are in trouble, family members are the ones that you can always count on, and in return they will also place trust on you, and they will need your support too. The support that comes from family can motivate you to succeed in society. Therefore, family is the foundation to build everything else on. For instance, if you do not have a happy family, you will worry about arguments with your parents/spouses daily, and that will hinder your work progress and your social live. Richness and social status are important goals, but family should come first because if you don't even have those that are close to you to share your happiness and success, you will hardly feel successful.
