Many people like dogs.But most of them don’t know dogs very much,even a dog keeper.
This summer,I received a book called ‘whisper of wisdom ’.And I read it in two days.
It is an encyclopedia of dogs.It tells us ‘why dogs do things they do.’
There are many small stories in this book; each story has a beautiful picture.I know interesting things in each story,and I saw different kinds of dogs in each pictures.
I like the story‘ the games dogs play’ very much.Yes,dogs love playing with their owners.They will be very happy if you play with him or give him some toys .But do you know?If you give a dog the same toy every day,he will be unhappy and refuse to play with you.But don’t worried,the writer tells us how to play with a dog.He says,your dog should be given only one to play with at a time.For example,you have a ball and a doll; you give the ball to your dog in the morning,and take it away in the evening.The next day,you should give him the doll.This will keep your dog’s attention by not knowing which toy it will get each day,making the toy all the more exciting.
After I read the story,I know the writer love the dog deeply(好像有点问题,我想说的是：作者有多么爱狗……)many people love dogs,but I haven’t seen any people who（如此地了解狗的思想）before.
The book is written by an Australian,and the writer wrote the story for his wife and lovely daughters.But for me,(它有着更深一层的含义).Because this book is from a friend of mine in Australia.She had two dogs,and she loved them.I lived in her house for a week,and I helped them walk the dogs,feed the dogs food.This summer,she sent me the book ‘whisper of wisdom ’.(在扉页上),She wrote a sentence ‘Dear Angel,thanks for the walks and feeding us dinner every night!We hope you like this book about dogs and remember us.Meg & Mickey(the names of the dogs)’
Yes,I will remember them!Though we only lived together for a week,I will remember them forever!Meg and Mickey,you told me that dogs have love,too.You told me dogs are human’s good friends.You told me human and dogs can live happily together.
Dogs are similar to children.They will be happy if you give them a bone or a toy .but if you give them a smile or a stroke,them will be happier.You love them,they love you.
Though I don’t have a dog,I ’ll keep the book in my bookcase .Because (它承载了一段记忆),a memory of lovely dogs.
