Is It Easy to Adjust to University life?
Year after year,a large number of high school student take the entrance college examination and be a freshman.,starting their new life.I hold the opinion that it’s not easy to adjust to university life.
As you know,it will take a long time to adjust yourself to university life for a great many of freshmen.When you enter university,the big challenges are new people,unfamiliar environment,different study style which make you feel confused about.Take me example,i have went through a hard year to adjust to new life.At the beginning of the frist semester,five strangers and me live together in the same dorm.That made me feel uncomfortable.And there was a while that it’s difficult for me to do everything by myself,such as doing laundry.Even i can’t go back home as usual in that time.all of the above made me homesick.And I was missed my family very much.In terms of study,less classes,less homework,but more spare time for me to spend on what I want.So,without self-restraint,much time wasted on computer game,shopping etc.Professor would never teach the same lesson second time or as my high school teacher teach by holding his hand.Generally,there is only one semester for each course.Hence,I have to learn much new knowledge from a thick book in a short time.
I believe that I’m not a in individual case.What I have encountered,it’s a universal phenomenon.Although it’s tough for most of newcomer to adjust university life.There will be a paradise when you come over the big challenge above.Establish a friendship with your roommates,spend precious time on what you really interested and need,do some part-time jobs if you have free time,then you will find university is really colorful and interesting.Therefore,even it’s difficult for most of us to adjust to a new life.maybe university is more fit to you.Just come over all of problems which you got.
